Ferragamo just announced the immediate incorporation of the designer of luxury shoes Paul Andrew as the new artistic director of their collections of shoes for women. After having worked for Alexander McQueen, Donna Karan or Francisco Rodriguez, Andrew launched his own brand in 2013, and it can boast of being the first shoe designer to have won the prestigious Award that every year gives the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Foundation in the 2014.
Revered by the it-girls, celebrities and the fashion editors, the creations of Paul Andrew are distinguished both by its undisputed use of color and of the different materials with which manufactures its shoes, without ever sacrificing so their functionality or its comfort.
Paul Andrew so to Massimiliano Giornetti -director of the creation of the Group of lines of Salvatore Ferragamo-, who announced unexpectedly his departure last March after working 16 years for the brand.
Andrew will present his first collection of shoes on the occasion of the collection Pre-Fall 2017-2018, at the time that also continue to design for his own label in parallel.
